Hello, I'm Ani. I am an award-winning wildlife and nature photographer based out of Singur, West Bengal. My journey with photography began as a quiet fascination with the rural biodiversity surrounding my hometown, and it has since evolved into a lifelong pursuit of capturing the untamed beauty of the Indian subcontinent.

From the dense, tidal mangroves of the Sundarbans to the misty altitudes of the Himalayas, my work is driven by a deep respect for the natural world. I believe that a photograph is more than just an image; it is a meticulously recorded field observation, a testament to the fragile ecosystems we must protect.

When I'm not waiting silently in a hide or trekking through the undergrowth, I lead small-group photography expeditions. These tours are designed to share not just technical skills, but the fieldcraft required to understand and predict wildlife behavior without causing disturbance.
